“A real master can only be one who devotes himself to his cause with all his strength and soul.”
Albert Einstein (1879 – 1955)

Example of Work 1 – Improvement of Profit situation

INITIAL SITUATION & OBJECTIVE

The management is asked by the new owner to cut costs in order to improve EBITA. First and foremost, employees are to be laid off.

SOLUTION AND APPROACH

However, market and competition analyses showed that considerable market potential in existing and new markets is not even being tapped.

BENEFIT AND VALUE ADD

In order to achieve the objective of “improving EBITA”, the existing employees were trained to actively cultivate the market and customers. EBITA improved due to the increase in turnover. This resulted in economies of scale of over 30% on the cost side – without making any redundancies.

Example of Work 2 – Overloading of employees in a department

INITIAL SITUATION & OBJECTIVE

The internal sales department has been demanding more staff for years. This was repeatedly refused by the management in order not to worsen the personnel cost situation. The first employees quit. As a result, the workload intensified and the motivation to work became worse and worse.

SOLUTION AND APPROACH

The analysis of staff workload revealed that a lot of time and effort was wasted on repetitive tasks that did not exactly add value. Staff skill levels were far too high for this. We introduced new self-learning systems for Robot Process Automation for the order process.

BENEFIT AND VALUE ADD

Order processing time was reduced from 2-3 days to a few minutes. The staff had gained time to provide additional support to the sales department and to advise customers better. The process quality became more stable and reliable. At the same time, the workload decreased and staff motivation increased.

Example of Work 3 – Coaching of Employees

INITIAL SITUATION & OBJECTIVE

Employees are constantly faced with new challenges and workloads that the supervisory board and owners expect to be mastered. Fear and uncertainty about one’s own performance potential sometimes prevent this and overload can lead to burnout.

SOLUTION AND APPROACH

Increasing one’s own performance, self-confidence and training efficient decision-making and working methods are made clear to employees in coaching.

BENEFIT AND VALUE ADD

Qualified employees are coached for new tasks and responsibilities and work efficiencies are trained to avoid burnout and resignation. Increased or regained self-confidence supports supervisors’ expectations.
